For those who are happy owners of Micromax Canvas 4 A210, here is the process to root access the Micromax Canvas 4 to make most out of the hardware of the phone.

Here we are going to provide you with quick way to root your Micromax Canvas 4 A210 with easy to follow steps.
Requirements:

• Micromax Canvas 4 A210 generic handset.
• USB cable for connecting device to PC.

Pre-Requisites:

• Fully back-up your Micromax Canvas 4 A210.
• Disable all security apps and programs (Antivirus and Firewall) from your device.
• Make sure that all the drivers are installed properly.
• Make sure your phone is fully charged.
• Enable USB debugging on your Micromax Canvas 4 A210.
  Go to Settings > Development > USB debugging.

How to Root Micromax Canvas 4 A210

• Download Rooting Tool and extract it on your computer.
• Connect your Micromax Canvas 4 A210 to your computer via USB cable.
• Run the “RunMe.bat” file from the extracted folder downloaded in first step. This should open the command prompt.
• Press any key, the process will begin and your device may reboot several times, wait until than.
• Once completed you will find “SuperSu” in the application list.
• Reboot your Micromax Canvas 4 A210 manually.
• Your phone is now rooted.

Instructions-
1.You must have CWM recovery installed before trying this
2.Make a full backup from CWM in case anything goes wrong
3.Download RIO ROM MyPhone_Agua_Rio_S5501_v1.17_Deodexed
4.Reboot into recovery
5.Wipe data/factory reset
6.Go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache
7.Go to mouns and storage and format /system
8.Go back and select install zip from sdcard, select MyPhone_Agua_Rio_S5501_v1.17_Deodexed.zip and confirm
9.Reboot after flashing is complete
10.Enjoy AOSP like experience


Stock JB 4.2.2 SP flashable-
This is official stock 4.2.2 flashable with sptools, if you want to flash my cleankat rom, this is the correct base, just extract the rar, open sptools, click scatter-loading and select the KK scatter file in the folder you just extracted, press firmware upgrade, take out battery and connect phone, you must have all the necessary drivers before that, DOWNLOAD


STOCK A120 ROM 4.2.2-
Instructions-
1.You must have CWM recovery installed before trying this

3.Download STOCK ROM
4.Reboot into recovery
5.Wipe data/factory reset
6.Go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache
7.Go to mouns and storage and format /system
8.Go back and select install zip from sdcard, select "copy of stock rom.zip" and confirm
9.Reboot after flashing is complete

RECOVERY-

CWM Recovery for JB-
1.You must be rooted before this, see above how to root 4.2.2
2.Download recovery.img from here and place it in your sd card, not in any folder !!
3.Install mobileuncle tools from play store
4.Open mobile uncle tools and select recovery update, now select RECOVERY UPDATE
5.Select Recovery.img which you placed in /sdcard
6.You can now switch off the phone then press (vol up+vol dwn+power)

STOCK Recovery for JB-

CTR Recovery for KK-
1.Download and replace default recovery.img is sp flashable files with this one
2.Open sptools and select your kitkat scatter file

Micromax Unite 2 A106 is a budget android Kitkat (V4.4.2) smartphone which was recently launched by Micromax. It is packed with quite good specifications. Before going further I’ll like to point a thing that Rooting voids phone’s warranty but once you have rooted it you can unroot it anytime too.

Rooting is confusing for all newbies, but by following the below guide you can easily get your facts and doubts clear and can successfully root your Micromax Unite 2.

No nothing like that would happen if you follow the process perfectly and rooting won’t make your device blast.
So now we’ll move towards the procedure of rooting but before it there are some goodies that you will need to download.

• Boot Image and CWM Recovery

• SP Flash Tool

• MTK USB Drivers For Micromax devices (Only If not installed)
• Super SU

And last but not the least

• Scatter File

And Make Sure your device has at least 75% + battery and you have enabled USB Debugging. If not Go To Setting–>About Phone–>Tap the build number 4-5 times and that will enable Developer Settings in case it is not present by default. Else you can find the developer option simply by visiting the settings option.
Now we’ll go ahead towards the rooting procedure.
How To Root Micromax A106 Unite 2?
Follow the below guide properly to root the device.

1. Install the USB Drivers If they are not already installed on your PC.
2. Copy the SuperSU File on your device’s internal memory, don’t keep it in any folder just let it be there.
3. Pull out the device’s battery, and while it’s turned off connect it to your computer via USB cable.
4. Extract out all the files of SP flash too, and double-click on Flash_Tool.exe to open it.
5. Click On the scatter loading button and select the “Scatter File” that you just downloaded. The real name of the file is “MT6582_Android_scatter_emmc.txt”.
6. This will then load up a new section in the region below where you’ll be able to see a lot of check boxes just click on BOOTIMG text and select the boot image you just downloaded and then follow the same procedure for RECOVERY text and select the recovery.
7. Click on the download button and there will be a warning popped up but don’t worry about it and  Congratulations you have successfully installed CWM Recovery on your Unite 2.
8. Now all you have to do is boot up into recovery and you can do that by pressing and holding Volume up+Volume down+power key simultaneously. Then select the recovery mode and select install ZIP from SD card and then use the volume rockers to scroll up and down and power button to make a selection.
9. Select the SuperSU.zip that you placed in your phone.

And in this way you can successfully root your device.

Rooting stock ROM 4.2.2-
1.Rooting A120 stock rom is very simple
2.Download and install the framaroot app attached below
3.Open framaroot and select install supersu
4.Choose the 3rd method (Barahir)
5.Now install busybox from play store
6.You are now rooted


Rooting stock ROM 4.4.2-
1.First you need to flash CTR recovery
2.Replace default recovery.img is sp flashable files with this one
3.Open sptools and select scatter file
4.Now untick everything except recovery and click download
5.Now reboot and place the subinst_signed.zip in your sdcard
6.Reboot into recovery and flash the zip now
7.Reboot and you are now rooted


Rooting FOTA ROM 4.4.2-
1.Download this scatter and cwm package
2.Extract it and use the scatter file with sptools to flash recovery
3.Now boot into recovery and flash subinst-signed.zip
4.Reboot and enjoy.
